Disappointing
This podcast starts with the interesting observation that many women from the African diaspora have a special fondness for Diana. But then it veers towards the astounding premise that Diana is a two-dimensional figure in pop culture. Really? I’d say she’s one of the most analyzed women of her age. For those whose entire knowledge of Diana comes from the Crown this provides an introduction to the usual themes of Diana as humanitarian, mental health advocate, mother, feminist. But it’s fairly reductionist. I wish it had done more with the Diana and the BIPOC community.

This is going to be so good! Great host and topic. CNN is on fire lately!

I really loved hearing about Prince, but the author makes it more about their self. I.e. complaining of her worries of being objectified but then proceeding to objectify prince endlessly thereafter.
