Not culturally sensitive
I’ve enjoyed listening to this podcast, and as a black female I was excited when I saw there would be a couple from Nigeria featured. As it turns out, it wasn’t a Nigerian couple but a (likely white) couple from Seattle who recently relocated to Nigeria. Ok fine. But then before the episode even started, the preview described Nigeria like a depraved nation with people not social distancing and maybe stealing their belongings. Couldn’t listen past that. Also there have been 1.5 million cases in the US so which country is safer?

As far as I know, there is no other podcast like this. Raw therapy sessions where they go straight to the deep end. Each session is highly vulnerable, deeply thought-provoking, and urges self reflection. I tip my hat to Perel and the brave people she’s speaking with here. Thank you for sharing :)
