On a trip to visit an old Army buddy in Texas, David Berkowitz sees the film that will change his life forever, picking up the gun featured in the film, the very next morning, the infamous .44 revolver.

As David’s destructive nature continues to turn outward, he looks for a killer to model himself after, and believing his has found one, embarks on his first attempt to murder a woman. 

David Berkowitz launches an exuberant effort to locate his birth mother, the encounter with whom, does not go according to plan.
