nothing like what you have courageously revealed has ever happened to me. I’m 59 years old. You were only 16 when it all started...Give yourself a break darling girl. Yes you should own it - to a point. You really didn’t do anything unforgivable given your age, circumstances, etc. It’s not your fault he met your grandparents. They are adults and were as convinced by him as you were. You were all under the spell of a psychopath or someone of that ilk.
I sincerely hope that you and your family and his other victims, can move forward and find some kind of acceptance, peace, and even joy,in your lives ahead.
