Almost!
I feel like this podcast almost has it. At times it seems the host just has a list of the exact same questions she rattles off each episode (a bit like an elementary school ‘interview a person’ project) making the guest do most of the work. What’s needed is the feeling that she’s read the author’s work, and is able to tie together questions specific to that author. This would also make it more interesting for the listener who may or may not have any idea of who that particular guest is. It would give the conversation nuance and texture and would not have the feeling of ‘next question…’ which I believe she has actually said. Talking Scared podcast does a great job of this. I will definitely check back in, but it might just be too frustrating a listen :(

Found this podcast thru another podcast, and really dig the premise of talking to fans about why they love horror. My only gripe is that every guest loves The Shining, and I’m just not a fan of either the book or the movie (my horror hot take).
