“Though it is great to have a sci-fi series of this length, and though there were some well-written and sweet moments throughout, the author's own rancid attitude toward his aspects of his choices of subject matter showed through periodically and eventually spoiled the whole experience. The author tops it off with a somewhat hostile postscript to the final episode of the final book. Perhaps if I'd skipped that last bit I'd have left with a better taste in my mouth. Ultimately, I wish I'd skipped the whole series.”
