31 episodes

Hosted by international bestselling author and journalist Omar El Akkad, Without explores all of the things we can't imagine losing. In some cases, it’s something we’ve already lost – species, natural phenomena, places. In other cases, it’s things we should probably learn to live without, like fossil fuels or nuclear weapons. Every episode of WITHOUT is a thought experiment – what would the world look like if something we’ve become used to were no longer around?

Not sure

Love the idea. I live in portland and find that you need to update your information. Overdoes are way up and the highest in the country among children. The optics aren’t the smoking drugs vs beer drinkers. It is watching as a beautiful soul slowly fades until they die. If that sound poetic, it’s not. It’a gruesome, grotesque, and horrific.

Insightful

Very good writing, information/history told in story form. Always walk away feeling appreciative of something, but more inclined to protect what I would have otherwise considered a “given”.
