Crisis deep dive, extract edition
The crew concludes our two-part series taking a deep dive on crisis selection, this time focusing on extracts. We discuss strategies for each, when you should choose each one, how you respond if you get put into one, and why Researcher is the best crisis in the game.
Don't forget that we will announce the winner of our next raffle, Gwenom and Scarlet Spider (although we settled on Benom for the celebrity tabloid name), the winner to be announced in episode 9.

Crisis deep dive, secure edition
The crew starts a two-part series as a deep dive on the different crisis cards in the game. This episode is a discussion about secures - how they play, what rosters to take them with, how to game plan if you have a bad matchup, and more.
We also announced the winner of our JP commission giveaway winner, as well as the new giveaway - Gwenom and Scarlet Spider, the winner to be announced in episode 9.

What did we learn from Adepticon 2024?
This year's Adepticon was the first really big Crisis Protocol event after the new Core Box, character updates, and CGR nerf, so the crew dove into the results and statistics and tried to find out what we've learned about the state of the game. There were some things that we saw coming (cough Hellfire cough) and some surprises, with the biggest takeaway perhaps being the overall health of the game.
We also announced our winner of the first Witty Banter giveaway! We are looking forward to doing more and more of these as we go on, as a thank-you to all the webheads out there listening and supporting us.
We also would love you to come to Omaha for this year's Bugeater Grand Tournament! We will be hosting three days of Crisis Protocol fun from May 31 - June 02, 2024. Friday will be a team tournament event, Saturday will be an LVO qualifying Contest of Champions, and Sunday will be some funsies for those of us not making the top cut. Awesome show
Love the content and the cast. They’re all very funny and provide excellent advice. The roster building part is probably my favorite.
Needs better audio
The podcast needs some real audio work to be enjoyable to listen to. The hosts’ volume levels are all over the place. For whatever reason, the podcast seems to pick up speech in higher registers better than lower ones.
Work in Progress
So far I am enjoying the show but there are definite issues. The audio is not great and some of the people are hard to hear. Sometimes multiple people are talking and the conversations become incoherent and convoluted. The show needs more structure and focus. With all the issues it is a good beginning and I hope the show continues and improves. They are likable and knowledgeable.
