Intersectionality
While both of the hosts are hilarious and awesome in and of themselves, one thing I love about this podcast is that each brings their different backgrounds. David DeLuise was born into an entertainment family, and learned comedy and timing at the feet of Hollywood royalty, but didn’t really embark on his entertainment career until he was old enough to make his own way. Jennifer Stone, on the other hand. brings her experience as a child actor, also growing up on sets but in front of the camera, learning on the job, living, being educated and experiencing (many) first crushes, and seeing how the system treats children both in public and behind the scenes. Did I mention they are both frickin adorable, real human beings?
