Josephine Calabria - From Juice to Java: The WICked Path of a STEM VP
Listen now
Description
In this inspiring episode of the "Women Count" podcast show, host Jane Alexander sits down with Josephine Calabria, a Director at EY developing their process automation portfolio as well as a VP for the Women in Information and Communication group in Canberra (WIC). This podcast explores Josephine’s unconventional introduction to STEM, working for a Juice company in regional Australia, and follows her career development to her current position in EY and her journey with WIC and current VP responsibilities. Josephine has a fiercely independent streak, initially demonstrated by her tenacity and determination to develop the ICT skills needed to deliver operational capability, while she was relatively isolated in regional Australia – her approach has always been “you just have to make it work”. Josephine’s strength and commitment has been extended to her role in WIC and  now has a leadership role developing new and exciting approaches to deliver tangible improvements for women in STEM. Please join us for this podcast to learn more about Josephine and the critically important work that WIC delivers and the benefits the organisation drives for women in STEM.
