Unbearable nasally voice of Lena Dunham and her sidekick that emphasizes every single consonant like the annoyed millennials taking your coffee order. The judgement of mental illness is not lost either. How this woman has fans is beyond me.

Lena Dunham is a great interviewer because she’s interesting and original. Like Ira. Interesting slice of life audio stories that are both particular and universal—even a Sedaris on the ep!

The Cassie Johnson and Sean Young episodes were the best. So hilarious. A very smart and interestingly curated podcast. The C Word is such a cool idea.

to survey and explicate (where possible) complicated female behaviour is one fantastic idea, if for nothing else than allowing other females to recalibrate our own exacting gaze on what we do. it's all so easy to sweep entire personae under simple labels. everything encourages us to do it but...Read full review »

i love lena dunham. i have gobbled up (read/listened to/watched) every single thing she has created or had a hand in creating and i’m still hungry for more. She speaks right to me in all the ways i needed. i haven’t fan girl’d this diligently since i discovered Miranda July in high school.

Have only listened to a few episodes so far, but I love this show. Witty banter and intelligent insights. It’s about time someone sets the record straight for “crazy” women. Can’t wait for the Britney episode that I imagine must coming soon!!

I don’t know why people like Lena, but she seems self entitled and unaware of reality.

I’ve loved Lena since Girls aired, but this podcast is truly her. It’s raw, witty and educational too. Totally my go-to when I’m in the car and I love the guests she has on the show! She’s always a refreshing perspective and funny as hell!

Something doesn’t add up?! How does this podcast have 4/5 stars, yet most of the reviews are negative????? Ummmm this clown is a racist narcissist ding bat! She’s the type that says highly racist and stereotype things but when called out says “ oh it’s ok I can say that cause I have a black...Read full review »

Poorly structured, the c word eps sound closer to a high school presentation than that of a professional writer and actor. There are better podcasts out there on these subjects

I love that Lena uses her platform to shed light on things that aren’t always talked about. This podcast does not disappoint!!

I know and understand that Lena Dunham as a public figure has maintained her fair share of controversy as a self-proclaimed feminist. I might be biased as well because I’ve adored Lena since the very first time I saw Girls in 2012. She had made some mistakes in response to certain things but I do...Read full review »

I think Lena Dunham is so relevant. I love her awkwardness and quirky wit, also her down right no fear attitude regarding failing in public and hard topics to talk about. I’m so grateful for this podcast and for GIRLS. It changes my life just for existing. MORE PLEASE

I think that this podcast is a brilliant idea and I enjoyed the content but their accents are incredibly annoying, especially the one that isn’t Lena... ailissa? She needs elocution lessons, however that could just be because I’m British and not used to it
Kakawars via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 12/08/19
I love this podcast. The subjects they choose each week are intensely interesting but what makes it really great is the honest and humorous conversations between Lena and Alissa. I think they balance each each other out perfectly and I must disagree with the reviewer below, this is not cheap and...Read full review »

She admitted to molesting her baby sister and that’s just one of the many reasons why she needs to be ignored entirely. Don’t waste your time on this podcast, don’t give this woman any ounce of energy or attention, she doesn’t deserve it.

I’m not sure what the goal of the c word is, but if Lena and friend are looking to help reframe the way we look at women who are called crazy, they need to do more rigorous research and tone down the sensationalism. This show just comes across as gossipy and making light of undiagnosed mental...Read full review »

She is out of touch and completely oblivious to her own hypocrisy. Lena is the epitome of everything she decries as abhorrent. A stain on the Democratic Party, feminism, and every other movement she “helps”. It truly would be better for the aforementioned movements if she would stay home. Trash...Read full review »

I love who you are and how you are. Sorry, I know this is not about girls, but just want to say in very very dark moments of my life, I have managed to smile and laugh and relate and see myself and others around me and just feel better by watching girls. I don’t know you but I love you 😁

Lena Dunham is met with such unfair vitriol from so many. However, I find how eloquent intelligent and super self aware she is refreshing and inspiring the actions she takes to help others. Props to her.
