Teresa Gutierrez is a native Southern Californian. She earned her BA from the University of Southern California (USC) and her law degree from Loyola Law School (LLS) in Los Angeles. Deeply connected with her community, she founded Teresa Gutierrez Law to help her clients create peace of mind by protecting their family and relationships through comprehensive estate planning, including wills, trusts, and medical directives - to avoid the expense and publicity of Probate Court during and after their lifetimes. She further counsels her clients on making guardian nominations about who can best and legally care for their minor children if ever they cannot. Teresa also helps put families together through legal guardianships, oftentimes after challenging circumstances concerning biological parents including death, incarceration, deportation, and other. She also guides her clients through probate and conservatorship proceedings where the loved ones of clients have passed away intestate (without an estate plan) and / or without instructions for who should care for them during a disability or incapacity.
