Ep. 83 Why The First 5 Minutes Of Your Day Are The Most Important With Dr Rangan Chatterjee

Dr Rangan Chatterjee has always been on my ‘dream guests’ list for this podcast for years. He is one of the most influential doctors in the UK, having practised for over 20 years and dedicated his career to how we can improve our health and our happiness before we need to head to the doctor’s surgery. He’s the author of 5 Sunday Times bestselling books about happiness & productivity and over a million people listen to his podcast every week.
I’ll be totally honest, going into this recording I aimed to get as much actionable advice for you as possible, and he really was full of wisdom. So make sure you listen right to the end so you don’t miss anything.

Ep. 82 The Real Story Behind Odd Muse With Aimee Smale

It’s safe to say that Aimee Smale has had a whirlwind few years. Aged just 21 she left her job at Asos to found Odd Muse, a fashion brand known for tailoring and sleek silhouettes. She openly admits she had no experience running a business, yet within her first three months, she’d made over £100,000 after her designs captured huge audiences online.
Now, Odd Muse is going from strength to strength, opening their first permanent store in London this year. I can’t wait for you to hear Aimee’s story. If you’re sitting in a full-time job and you’ve ever wanted to set up your own venture - this episode is for you.

Ep. 81 All The Fertility Questions You’ve Been Scared To Ask with Dr Helen O’Neill

Ep. 81 All The Fertility Questions You’ve Been Scared To Ask with Dr Helen O’Neill

Dr Helen O’Neill is a leading expert in reproductive science, she’s a lecturer in reproductive and molecular genetics at University College London, she has a Masters in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine and a PhD in Stem Cell Biology. She is also the founder and CEO of Hertility Health, an award-winning bio-tech business specialising in fertility testing that has raised over £5 million since launch.
Fertility is obviously a hugely sensitive topic, but it’s also one that we never talk about for exactly that reason. When I started this podcast, I wanted it to cover the important topics that we never get taught, and I learnt so so much from Helen that I really couldn’t believe I haven’t researched or known before. If you’re thinking about switching off right now because you find the idea of fertility testing terrifying like I do, I promise you it’s worth sticking it out and listening to this one. However, if you are someone who is currently struggling to conceive, or finds fertility conversations particularly hard, this is an episode to skip.

Ep. 80 How To Rewire Your Brain For Resilience + Success With Professor Steve Peters

Ep. 80 How To Rewire Your Brain For Resilience + Success With Professor Steve Peters

Professor Steve Peters has more Olympic medals and world championships to his name than you can count, with accolades in sports from athletics to football, cycling and snooker. But here’s the catch, he hasn’t ever played these sports professionally. Instead, he’s the ‘brain mechanic’ behind the world’s most successful teams and individuals, from England Football to British Cycling. In fact, Snooker World Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan credits Peters with his success.
His advice was incredible, and I can’t wait for you to listen to this one. It is such an honour to have such impressive and intelligent people in my office for this podcast, so I hope you enjoy listening.

A Smart Podcast

This podcast makes me feel smarter every time I open it🤓

I see the vision, but needs work

I listened to the Odd Muse episode, great guest! However, I feel like Grace may need to talk less, much less and learn to turn the conversation back to the guest. I feel she was speaking more than the guest and had a very fast pace of talk compared to the guest. I didn't feel that it flowed well as a conversation.
