Ep. 303: “One of Many Tools” – Understanding How Organizational Design Connects To Workplace Strategy with Arnold Levin of Gensler

Arnold Levin is Director of Strategy at Gensler where he is combining experience in design strategy and organizational design to help clients solve the right problem. Mike Petrusky asks Arnold his current views on the world of work and why he believes that workplace problems and solutions are organizational issues, not physical ones. They explore how the physical workplace is just one of many tools that organizations have and while the pandemic has led to a shift in workplace strategies for some organizations, many are returning to pre-pandemic practices. Arnold says that successfully adopting hybrid work models should be based on the specific needs and functions of the organization, rather than following trends and challenges that our workplace profession has failed to take a leadership role in guiding organizations through these changes. Listen to hear the inspiration that you need to break out of your comfort zone and become a Workplace Innovator in your organization!

Fan of Mike P ,

Thank You!

As someone new to the worktech space - I can’t overstate how helpful this pod has been. Mike gets phenomenal guests and his conversational tone and comfort and curiosity with the content is so vibrant and welcoming you can’t help but get drawn in to the discussion. Plus, as a music fan, you’re always waiting for tips or leads on an forgotten artist or song or a new one to find. Thank you Mike!

Boston RBO ,

Great podcast about the future of the workplace

Maybe I’m biased because Mike’s guests include some brilliant minds I’ve had the privilege or working with or whom I’ve respected from afar. Or maybe I’m biased because I’ve had the pleasure of being a guest on Workplace Innovator.

But, biases or not, I love this podcast! The conversations are extremely relevant for workplace innovation, strategy, how real estate and the office is shifting post-pandemic and important industry factors that we’re all looking for more insight on. Each episode is not only relevant and thought provoking, but also light and easy to listen to because of Mike’s convivial personality and desire to connect on a personal level with his guests.

Workplace Innovator is a fantastic podcast and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s in or interested in the real estate industry or the future of work and our workplace.

annoyed by the musically unaware ,

Fantastic discussions between Mike Petrusky and others on the human condition and all things relevant to producing value in the workplace. These are my go-to podcasts when taking a break. Bucket list addition: sharing music and a quote with Mike.
