“Weeds>Worldly. I enjoy the hosts and the banter, but I would love to get more detailed analysis and historical context relating to global affairs.
In the US, I think we are vastly under-informed about foreign affairs, and unfortunately, this podcast is only a drop in the bucket. I think that episodes could comfortably be twice the length, to better our understanding of global issues.
I also miss the short entertaining bits of news at the end of episodes. While less serious, those often led me down the rabbit hole about learning about global corruption (ex. the controversy surrounding Netanyahu’s son, including prostitutes).”
