“I have been studying writing academically for the past 6 six years because I wanted to learn to how to write my stories. I finally decided to write my first book, at age 66, so I took my quest for knowledge about writiing to where I could learn from actual writers. Enter podcasts. I listen to several but my favorite is "Write Now" with Sarah Werner.
I find that Sarah's guests are writers who are in about the same stage of their careers as I am, all the way to aclomplished successful writers. It's this experiance range that helps me sort through the issues all new writers encounter. That helps me focus on the things I need to do to advance my writing.
What I like most is how Sarah and her guests inspire me to write. She features writers who have great stories on how they came to writing, from an 18 year old who is writing about his adventures to an 84 year old man who is writing about a long and very interesting live of lessons learned and his travel. However, it's Sarah that proves the most inspiration with her easy style, fasinating takings on writing backed up by her own writing experiences.
