Not Just for the Ladies
This is a podcast for female Christian writers, but I’m a Christian man & I have found this show very helpful in my writing journey. I discovered it through Thomas Umstadtt Jr’s guest appearance on the podcast. I appreciated their focus on building platform without social media, so I subscribed. So far it’s been great. I’ve only been embarrassed a few times when guys have hopped into my work truck & the show began auto-playing through my blue tooth. Because, make no mistake men, this show is unapologetically for chicks. If your male coworkers hear you listening to this, they will have many questions. Some of those questions will revolve around your status as a manly man. To save your reputation, you will have to explain your secret dream of becoming a writer to a group of Philistines who haven’t read anything other than a Taco Bell menu in their adult lives. FYI, this will not save your reputation. Nevertheless, there’s lots of great information in this podcast for anyone who wants to be a writer.

Thank you for sharing your courage with Writing off Social Media. It’s probably something most of us want to do but struggle with it. You are leading the way and appreciate all you share. God Bless.

Could it be true that God wants more for me than endless scrolling? The world is too big and the opportunities out there too numerous for social media to be the only way to share my writing and myself. Filled with hope, I’m excited to join Sandy and Mary K on this journey.
