The podcast of podcasts
Dear Marc, Your honesty and the baring of your neurotic yet generous soul as you constantly and openly learn from brilliant others makes for an intellectual, therapeutic ride I can’t miss. One of your guests recently said that yours is the voice of our consciousness, and I think especially for vulnerable, self-protective American artists with Jewish mothers, in many ways you are. You’ve sustained me through my lonely doctoral work and now through this pandemic. Your episode about Lynn made me cry like a baby. I was rooting for you guys, clearly you’d found your person and I’m glad you had her on the podcast recently to admit that someone was “with” you throughout this. As an artist and academic who has been alone for much of my life (the work can and does isolate sometimes), with several rollercoaster relationships in the past, I still love love and I was vicariously thrilled for you. It was beautiful and I’m heartbroken with you. We will heal. Thanks for baring and being. Love, Marianna
