“As a lawyer I have to do a lot of driving between different courts and clients, and this podcast is X-actly what I need to fill my drive time! The guys have a good dynamic, bouncing off of each other with the right amount of joking, and usually at least one of them knows what they’re talking about which keeps their discussions from getting frustrating. It also helps that the show’s been providing good material to discuss, although I think we’re all wondering why Storm’s been mostly absent this season.
For last week’s episode, I think they used Purple People Eater to hint that Bastion might have space origins as well -maybe the Shi’Ar to tie it all together- in addition to having purple skin and metaphorically eating people by making them sentinels. He’s also got kind of an uncomfortable 50s vibe, but that may be backdated from them choosing the song instead of the other way around. Finally a question: who’s your favorite one line or less Mutant - mine is Wolfsbane, I think a werewolf with Catholic guilt is a great concept for drama and action sequences!”
