“I’m a regular listener, but sometimes I really wish that there was a little less hypocrisy in these podcasts.
For people trying to be “low waste” there is a LOT of talk about frequent meat consumption, buying unnecessary products and taking long showers multiple times a day in CA.
Oftentimes, hearing their behavior makes their messages ring hallow. Anyone who has made any real effort to decrease their environmental footprint knows that the people working at this company are not doing anything actually effective (with the exclusion of Zach and Maggie, who seem to be primarily vegan and lower-waste, but with zero support from the rest of the team since zach keeps being fed non-vegan things in videos and brushed off he discusses the lifestyle).
I hope they actually start modeling these behaviors soon instead of just talking about them.
Otherwise, I really enjoy these podcasts — sorry for the overwhelmingly negative review this has just been bothering me with a lot of influencers lately, practice what you preach!”
