Stop saying nuance!!! Say slight difference. Just because there’s a trendy buzzword, doesn’t mean using it will make you sound credible.

I started listening to episodes of You’re Wrong About in March 2021, and within a month I had finished the entire back catalog of episodes. Michael and Sarah have such a fantastic rapport, and I love the combination of detailed research and loving care put into every episode. The way you speak...Read full review »

Great show - can’t wait to hear more. I’m also here for Sarah’s absolutely deadpan delivery of the most amazing burns for very deserving people.

I usually really love this show, but boy was the episode about cancel culture really off. I identify politically as a liberal, so I’m clearly the target audience for these two, but wow was that episode profoundly one-sided. Cancel culture is such a fascinating topic that could be so deeply mined,...Read full review »

I’m deeply enamored with both hosts in truly different ways—Michael Hobbes for his exactoknife reporting and Sarah Marshall for her intuitive (but no less brilliant) commentary on feelings. I found this show via the human trafficking episode in I think 2018 and it continues to be one of a handful...Read full review »

This podcast is everything, so well researched, funny, insightful, and I feel like it’s made me a more empathetic person, and I’m grateful for that. Thanks for the show! 🥰

I love this show and the hosts are awesome. Perfect amount of facts/knowledge and humor/banter.

The value brought by the podcast is overshadowed by the working backwards justification of all things leftist. The research is so blatantly one sided it lacks the exact nuance that the podcast seems to complain about in journalism today. Sara has a pleasant voice and brings some interesting...Read full review »

Thanks for it

Two hosts constantly agreeing with each other. Full of sweeping generalisations. Signalling their own virtue on almost everything. The “research” they do is an exercise in confirmation bias.

the hosts are remarkable! i love their take on topics, so thoughtful, considered, sooo clever and then to top it off... something rare....both are really kind and fun. LOVE them and this podcast. I often listen to an idea a few times to try to really understand their take on things....just so...Read full review »

This is my favorite podcast (and I subscribe to like 50). Every time a new episode drops, I “save” it to listen at the perfect time so I can thoroughly enjoy it. Probably a wasted effort, since I often run the back catalog while doing housework or falling asleep, so I’ve probably heard each...Read full review »

I was sad to hear you guys skim over positive reviews! I binged this show starting when Sarah Marshal was on “On The Media” discussing maligned women. I can’t find another show I like half as much and hope you guys stick around.

I don’t know who would be President and who would be Vice, but they are so smart and funny and sensible that I would support either. Listening to them is an absolute joy. It is the auditory equivalent of a comfy blanket which is ironic given their often dark subject matter. 6 out of 5 stars.

Sometimes it’s not at all clear what side they’re arguing or what we are “wrong about.” In “Cancel Culture,” for example, they spend 8 1/2 minutes but mention the term only once—never telling us what their position is— which is very strange in a podcast that is supposed to debunk something. There...Read full review »

Love the info this podcast provides. The hosts are very funny and witty, and they do a really good job of having conversation and banter with out interrupting one another.

I love every episode, but the cancel culture triptych is a true masterpiece. Thanks for putting something in to the world that is so well researched, thoughtfully considered, and makes me spontaneously bark laugh at stop lights. Hi! I adore your podcast and recently became a Patreon subscriber bc I just couldn’t wait and needed more content to listen to in the car and while I work. Hands down my favourite podcast I’ve ever listened to! So yeah thanks for that 🤪

I love listening to you guys talk! But more and more it seems like each episode is just a “let’s pick something conservatives think to say they are wrong about”. But most of your listeners are probably not conservative and aren’t wrong about those things. I loved the Diana episodes and all the...Read full review »

These shows are great. Provocative but well researched, sometimes maddening (because of the subject matter, never the presenters!), sometimes inspiring, the subject matter range is wide and super interesting. Reporting is great. Stories are interesting. However. It’s almost impossible to listen without fast forwarding one of the hosts Bc of the incessant, deeply annoying, and unfunny commentary (which said host believes to be charming). The other host tries to keep the story going or will pity laugh...Read full review »

I love this show. It’s great!! I’m so charmed by the hosts. And I hope that they read this and feel the warm and fuzzies. Thank you for putting this show out (and so consistently)! Keep up the great work!! I can’t wait for the next OJ Simpson / murder or Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman installment!

Why do people love this show so much? Why do they speak of it with such breathless enthusiasm? When you start listening, you won’t get it for a second. It’s not like there are hip, Radiolab-esque production values. The hosts are charming, personable, intelligent, etc. but they’re not uniquely...Read full review »

Had high hopes based on another podcaster’s review. Occasional snippets of interesting information but otherwise mostly derivative content and predictable takes.

I love this podcast so much. I’ve been binging lately and went back to episode one. I subscribed to their Patreon and love that there’s no ads! It’s so pleasing. I love the idea of the show, but it is a non stop political lecture, which really gets old.
