This was interesting commentary about a book that was required reading in the 70s. With good reason, All of our parents were trying to make us aware of and wary of drugs and this was supposed to have been a real teenager’s diary. I listened raptly to all 3 episodes, but found Carmen’s use of the word “like” in duplicate, triplicate, and even quadruplicate in every single sentence to be horribly distracting and made an otherwise enjoyable listening experience into one I wasn’t sure I would be finishing. Hopefully her writing is better than her speaking. If the program had only had a quarter of the “likes” I would have given it 5 stars.

This podcast is hilarious and smart and dives into all my favorite things - modern myths, serial killers, cults, and criminals who aren’t really criminals. I can’t get enough!
