“I am a long time listener and patreon member. I enjoy Sarah’s takes and love the range of topics covered.
Saying that, I have found recent episodes hard to follow. Personally I preferred the old format of a more structured conversation. I am not American so for me it was helpful when the mainstream understanding of a topic/ cultural phenomenon was described before it was debunked/ analysed. For example, I have no idea how Martha Stewart is regarded in the us - so I was confused what the Martha Stewart episode was trying to debunk. It was an interesting conversation but didn’t take me on a journey of understanding.
Also, In previous episodes, sources of information were clearly sign posted. Please bring that back! The podcast is so well researched, It was interesting to see the range of sources used and how conclusions were reached!”
