Losing the thread
When I started listening to this show, it felt mostly like an experiment in investigative research. The DC Sniper episodes, The Diana Series, and the shows about the Newsboy strikes are all examples of how expertly Mike and Sarah would unravel a narrative and reorganize the moving parts to reveal a shocking truth. Now, the goal seems to be more of an ironing of a narrative than an unraveling. The discussions are fine, Sarah is hilarious and an eager interviewer, her guests are always entertaining and knowledgeable. It’s the topics that feel less compelling and more nebulous, less focused. I’m not totally sure what the audience is for an Ro like “You’re Wrong About CRT”, because the people who ARE wrong about CRT probably don’t listen to this show, and the one’s that aren’t already understand it’s flawed nature. Nothing shocking there. Just pining for the good ol’ days I guess…

Title sounds confrontational but it’s not so much “I’m right, you’re wrong” it’s more “I was wrong but then I researched it.” My favorite podcast, always interesting!
