Snake Oil
A propos the Zoe programme which told me I had “poor blood sugar control”, I was suspicious because the blood sugar monitor showed a consistent flat line.So I had my bloods rechecked by my GP and it shows me still spot on in the middle of the normal range with GP comment of “Normal No Action”. I think this was pretty irresponsible of Zoe to suggest I had a problem potentially leading to prediabetes when I don’t. I’m suspicious of Zoe trying to flog stuff under the cuddly guise of “Citizen Science”. I see they’re now doing podcasts peddling their food supplement 30 (why not just eat more plant foods?)!, M&S food and softening people up to market new weight loss drugs which work on one’s neurotransmitters with who knows what possible long term side effects? Be wary. Don’t be gullible. Maintain your critical thinking.

Excellent, informative podcast. Would recommend. The episode on perimenopause and menopause is such an important topic - I hope Zoe comes back to this topic in future episodes.

Just listened to the episode on exercise and nutrition, I found it really interesting and learnt a lot. Now going to listen to the one on menopause and have subscribed.
