Cliff Notes meets Happy Hour
My former roommate turned me onto this podcast, and it has really opened up the world of science fiction lit for me. The hosts have a great time speaking to books that would normally be outside my comfort zone. The podcast is changing my perspective on Sci-Fi one episode at a time, making it feel much more within reach for someone who has not traditionally been into the genre. There are points where I laugh out loud because the hosts do such a good job bringing the books to life. Not sure yet that I am ready to take on some of these 500 page books, but will certainly continue to listen to understand the genre further as they break down the classics and contextualize why they deserve to be literary classics. As a novice I find real joy in these podcasts but I like to think even seasoned Sci-Fi vets can find value and enjoyment.

Listened to a few sci fi book podcasts before but hadn’t found one I liked. This one is great though! More than just a summary of the plots, and they’ve recommended good books I hadn’t read yet too
