“As a huge fan of rewatch podcasts in general and Buffy/Angel podcasts in particular, have to shoutout Joe & Vance for their fresh take. Not gonna lie, was a little nervous to start since neither of them had seen it, and therefore pictured myself screaming in my car about them getting stuff wrong, but it’s much the opposite. I love their predictions and their insight from the POV of adult men without any of the nostalgia. They cut through some of the stuff I perhaps hadn’t noticed, or allowed myself to notice, but in a lighthearted way. Don’t worry guys, to me, it’s clear you like both shows 😉. To top it off they’re funny, don’t take themselves too seriously, and while I love my Buffy pods that are either scholarly or perhaps more focused on social issues, this one provides a fun and humorous vibe. Happy to finally be caught up, but also missing binging!”
