“This has been my introductory to podcasts, and they’ve ruined it for me…. In the sense that no other podcast I’ve come across has been this GOOD! and duuuuude……. I grew up watching Buffy, so being able to listen in every week and get a fresh perspective on things I’ve thought I had down, makes me realize I might’ve overlooked some things. I’ve seen it probably 100 times and these “Boys” make me feel like I’m watching it for the first time again. They take the time to dissect every episode, scene by scene and give their input. They are pretty good at catching callbacks to earlier episodes and picking up on some moments of foreshadowing. The best part of it all is, they don’t take themselves too seriously! They are hilarious and just having fun. They roast on what needs to get roasted and then get excited when things are picking up (plot twists), they are not afraid to critique some questionable choices (certain acting, writing, fashion, etc.) they crack me up when they are reenacting dialogue between characters and have such an exaggerated version of what was actually said on that episode! I really enjoy listening in on my car rides to and from work. I started listening when they were towards the first half of season 4 and thought it was cool and I figured I would just backtrack and listen to my favorite episodes from seasons 1-3 and then just catch up on 4 and tune in every week after that, but after I completed that, I wanted more so I binged all of the podcasts episodes and finally caught up to date with these guys. Now I listen every week with the latest podcast and even joined your Angel patron to listen in since I’m caught up with Buffy content. Can’t wait for your next reactions.”
