“I was recommended this podcast by my sister as we both loved Buffy when it was originally airing. Over the years I’ve listened to various Buffy podcasts - all told through the lens of queer women. As a queer women myself, I found those relatable. However, it’s far more interesting hearing two straight cis men discussing the show through a modern lens. Joe and Vance are frequently reading things differently to how I originally did, or they don’t pick up on stuff that’s women-specific and are then enlightened in the brilliant show addition; their Discord server.
Overall an interesting, modern and hilarious take on a cult show that aired nearly thirty years ago, Joe and Vance are firmly in my favourites of all time to listen to.
But will Amy ever not be a rat??
