“This show isn't a bad attempt to do a UK version of The Daily Show, and Carr, Brooker and Mitchell are fairly consistently funny. My big question is what makes Lauren Laverne think she's suddenly a stand-up comedian? She comes over as a nice sort, but has no funny bones or comedy experience whatsoever, especially when alongside professional comedians. A funny and talented stand-up like Jo Caufield would've been a much better choice as the 4th member.”
