Listen now
Description
Ben Potter began coding at the age of 10 years old. Now he's a freshman in college and has acquired nine years of experience before the first job offer. As a self-taught developer, Ben shares that learning languages are effectively attained when building projects and supportive communities concurrently. He drops a plethora of sources, tools, tips on how to start and seek continued growth as a freelance developer. Please take a look at his DevCon Replay HERE. In April of 2020, The Next Steps team was motivated to help individuals who are pursuing careers in engineering, technology, and entrepreneurship, but found themselves paralyzed by the COVID19 Pandemic. Like so many of us, these individuals found themselves unsure about what are the Next Steps. We put together DevCon, a virtual conference where we focused on three areas: how to get started, how to level up in your career and shed light on entrepreneurship for engineers. The Conference was sponsored by Wallet Clicks, the digital business card company.
