Not professional but still good
Each story is read by a different narrator, and everyone is clearly trying their best and some are fantastic! The sound recording isn’t the best, but, the tales are read aloud and are still delightful as the writing is so amazing!

More reviews of 12 Creepy Tales by Edgar Allan Poe
No respect is given to the works of Poe. Stiff, loud and with no emotion nor atmosphere the stories are butchered one by one. One of the worst series for all the wrong reasons. Stay away. Find the stories of Poe in any other way possible.

It’s hard to focus on the story. The voice “acting” it fake and preppy. Doesn’t match the story AT ALL. It’s like she’s reading to a happy story to children. Not the dark deep voice Edgar Allan Poe Stories need.

Just listened to The Black Cat. The narrator sounded like a robot. No emotion or inflection at all. Lack of pauses between paragraphs. Super awkward to listen to.
