Wow horrifyingly touching and inspiring
Amazing podcast. The US needs to face its history. And truly begin to understand the multigenerational destruction of those impacted by the treacherous forces of racism which fueled slavery and the subsequent disenfranchisement of so many people of color. This pod is a must listen for all those who care about the future of a more unified world powered by unconditional love. :)

I know this will be extraordinary, especially if Nikole-Hannah-Jones put this project together. I enjoy her writing.

Humbling and eye-opening and beautifully narrated. If you’re white, you’ll be uncomfortable and ashamed and that’s precisely why you should listen. (I’m white. Because I’m sure you wondered). This isn’t black history. This is American history.

If our democracy has any future at all, we Americans must understand and reconcile our past. This is an extraordinary and complex work, an archeology of the real story of our people, with all of its brutality and humanity. Urgent, necessary, and deeply moving.
