So timely, so badly needed, so expertly executed
Only one episode in and I am already anxiously awaiting the next one. As a black person who studies race in my research, I recognize how much is known and that so very much remains unknown. This podcast/project will uncover some of America’s ugliest truths so that we can FINALLY not only face them, but do something—anything—to address and mitigate the ongoing harm that they’ve caused. Thank you, NYT, for taking this on. You have my full support. In fact, I’m going to purchase a subscription right now as one small way to encourage this work.
