“What other podcasts shoot for. And so on. I didn't always feel that way, though, and that '180' I did for the entire podcast is because I did a reversal on the one and only Luke "Lukems" Smith. Folks (especially those of you old enough to feel the need to lie about you age in a DOWNWARD direction), many of you will listen to this podcast and probably want to stop as soon as one of Luke's 'takes' or 'rants' starts. Trust me...DON'T. If you don't 'get' his brilliance or the podcast after two weeks' episodes...give it another two weeks. Repeat until you are illuminated and you eagerly and geekily look forward to this thing being posted on iTunes every Friday (actually Saturday). When certain news networks erroneously call themselves 'fair and balanced', it is a slap in the face to a podcast like this that actually has more 'balance' than the "Soul Calibur" series. These guys (the whole crew is distinctive in voice, personality, and position) not only know what's up, they will TELL YOU what's up, and potentially offended publishers and console manufacturers are not a 'fear factor' for them. I'm dead serious when I say that this is a joy and it is to the iPod what "Geometry Wars" is to the 360. That is to say, owning it almost alone justifies owning the hardware it's played on. Yes, it's THAT good--err, great--err, incredible. Other gaming podcasts, get in line behind this one. You've been "1upped".”
