The Black Girl’s Guide to the Whitest Show on Television
The Bachelor/Bachelorette is a problematic fave. I enjoy sequins, drama and rosè-fueled judgement so this show is a natural choice, however the sometimes hive-inducing lack of racial awareness makes me itch. The clueless bachelor nation podcast commentators don’t help - Enter, Two Black Girls, One Rose. This show is like a hug from the ancestors. Listening to Justine and Natasha crown “Beckys of the week”, escape to Wakanda and once in a while decide that the often clueless leads are “aight” is gloriously refreshing. Thank you ladies for being the pretend friends that I need to truly enjoy the absurdity of my favorite guilty pleasure. WAKANDA forever!!

This has become one of my favorite bachelor podcasts! Love the different perspectives, humor and sound effects. But how dare you not give me Eric and Peter Updates on the last episode with Sienne!!

Equal parts critical and hilarious, I discovered this podcast after the Bachelor finale and have had SO MUCH FUN listening back through these podcasts. I especially love the “invite to the cookout” and “Becky of the week” segments!
