“I’ve been listening for years now and hardly ever miss an episode if I don’t have to. Austin is a great host and brings a lot of energy to the interviews he does with prospects. Mike provides a lot of insight into teams and prospects that I really value and his and Austin’s chemistry is great and has probably only got better since they started living together. I like how they keep things light and humorous sometimes, but still get in the weeds with the draft talk. Keep up the great work guys. Looking forward to even bigger things for 2023 from y’all! I have two questions: 1.) Can we get a photo of Riggins on the show and does his name come from Friday Night Lights? If so that’s pretty awesome 2.) The Eagles have a lot of needs. We could use another receiver, but we have A LOT of upgrades needed on the defense to give Gannon the personnel to run his scheme. We don’t have a true free safety, have a gaping hole at CB2 opposite Slay (who is getting up there in age), need an upgrade at MLB, Cox and Hargrave are in the last year of their deals, and the only DE we’ll probably have for sure past this year is Josh Sweat. Basically we need defenders at every level of the defense. If you were the Eagles GM do you wait till day 2 to try and get a receiver or do you have them taking one in the 1st round like most mocks do? I feel like it would be hard to pay say DeVonta Smith to a huge contract one year and then the next year have to pay a highly selected receiver in the 1st this year the following year to a big deal as well. We already see teams unwilling to give out these massive deals to just 1 receiver… think Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill who were traded, plus all the other receivers feeling like they are being currently low balled (Deebo, AJ Brown, etc). Obviously the cap will go up I just find it hard regardless to pay 2 guys at the same position top dollar. During their rookie contracts it will be great, but what about beyond that? Maybe I’m looking forward too much. Idk. I just think it’s something to consider.”
