Last night I was encouraged again by the preaching of “God’s gifts to us in the Sacraments,”; it was very much a sermon to me! I loved the simplicity of your closing words. My paraphrase ….Ink and paper make Christ known to us, water and word put us into Christ, the bread and wine keep us there. Beautiful!!
I hear “all “ the time- that we don’t need others to tell us what God’s Word say’s . I am so thankful you addressed that subject! I love the church fathers, and the hymns, my catechism and our contemporary scholars and Pastors such as yourselves!! A ha! Moments are a joy to me.
