Couldn’t listen more than five minutes.
I work in forensic psychiatry and could not make it five minutes into the “making an exorcist” episode before unfollowing. The hosts know nothing about debilitating psychiatric diseases and are playing tee-ball at Yankee stadium. The girls’ parents are no more to blame for her starvation and dehydration than any “demons” were for her illness. She starved herself and was likely unwilling to keep food or water down as an act of self-harm. It’s common is psychosis, especially among females. In the 1970’s the available medication for severe psychosis was not widely available and was extremely toxic. Even the anti-seizure medication they had her on at the beginning 1) wouldn’t have treated her psychosis 2) was also extremely toxic and 3) would do nothing for her underlying mental illness. Psychiatric medicine is still not well understood, today she likely would have been sedated and given a wide spectrum of toxic psychiatric medications because no one knows what’s going to work until it works. Don’t be so harsh in the judgement of people who are hip-deep in the care of these individuals.

More reviews of 30 Morbid Minutes
I listen to your show at work and when people see me laughing they think I’m listening to comedy. The way you deliver morbid content is perfect. I can’t wait to hear more.
