“I really wanted to like this show. The subject matter is cool and super interesting and the concept of the show is pretty great in general.
What kills it for me are the hosts. Both seem like they’re not super into the subject at all and were just picked to do a show at RT just because someone had to.
They apologize constantly for being morbid and talking about morbid things….which is in the title. We know what we’re listening to. The hosts seem to be the only ones uncomfortable with it.
Overall I’d give this a skip cause any real information and stories in it are covered up over awkward giggles and bad jokes to lighten the mood on what is supposed to be 30 Morbid Minutes.”

“This is right in the wheelhouse of anyone who is interested in the macabre while still keeping things (tastefully) light. Elyse and Jessica are a natural fit as co-hosts and have great banter together. This is going in my weekly podcast rotation. Can’t wait to hear more!”

“They need to rename the show. It’s not 30 morbid minutes. It’s more like 25 minutes of boring uninteresting banter between two boring uninteresting people. And 5 minutes of some facts that are constantly interrupted by these host pointless musing and boring tangents.
