I don’t know what happened this year, but the inclusion of goofy sound effects throughout disrupts the tone and objectively offends the ear. They are too loud and add nothing to the otherwise perfectly straight laced reporting.
Either make it a straightforward reporting show or make it a lively commentary with personality and silliness. I could enjoy either. As it is, I have skipped whole episodes because I couldn’t endure the stupid noises punctuating every third sentence”
