“This show has always been an education with Tim (who remains the strongest part of the show) and a second regional panellist who could answer pretty much any question regarding their region and often beyond.
The newer format of “super fans” or Mark M has meant this is now diminished. Although it’s nice to have these individuals included it shouldn’t be to the detriment of a expert 2nd panellist. The super fans can continue to be knowledgable callers. Unlike a number of exhibitionists who now call to have their rather loud voices heard.
Such a shame as currently the show is declining by the week.
The global football podcast featuring Tim, Jonny D, Mark Gleason and John Arnold is now the go to listen for all things world football.”
