“I have learned a lot from you guys, both here and via Easy Italian (podcast and youtube). Thank you. This is less a criticism than a suggestion. The Easy Italian podcast is quite difficult to follow for someone like me who, at least at a reading level, has reached B1. It may have to do with the speed, or with the clarity of the enunciation or the recording. Having used Easy German too, I know that at an equivalent stage of learning German I was able to follow their podcasts more easily. Five Minute Italian has almost the opposite problem of being too easy - not in its very useful focus on a particular theme, but because it contains too much English. What would be terrific for a beginner breaking through to the intermediate level would be if you could find that perfect balance between explaining a difficult point in English, or perhaps simply opening the episode and explaining the topic in English, and then gradually switching into slow and clear Italian with the aim of ending the episode entirely in Italian, summing up more or less with a translation of what was said in English at the beginning. Anyhow, whatever you do I will keep listening - thanks again!”
