“Great stories to listen to on a car journey. But... why is the ‘500 words’ slogan shouted so loudly in between the stories? Can the volume for this be turned down at all go match the volume of the stories being told? We end up with quite a sleepy child when listening to the lovely stories but she is woken up each time the story ends, before the next one begins, when the girl shouts ‘BBC Radio Two’s 500 words’.”
