“The podcast does a good job at interviewing non MC supporters but when it comes to analyzing games and players i hear a lot of the same cliches being regurgitated without much supporting research. Specially when it comes to evaluating our players...
for example today you guys went on about Tony Kroos to City but you forgot to mention that while he was at Bayern Pep brought on Xavi Alonso to play the Alonso role. which Kroos now plays at Real...(and by the way Alonso plays a different role for Bayern than Gondogan does at Dortmund) why would he (Pep ) bring him (Kroos) to City where the EPL demand for running around is even greater.
Nasri is also dismissed or forgotten quite a bit but he is the closest player to Iniesta/Thiago that we have. Yes Silva but Nasri scores and retains the ball better (between Silva, Yaya, Nasri i think the latter will be the most likely to be in the middle next year)… and the treatment of Yaya and Kolarov is just hopeless. I am just assuming that listeners will want to hear a little more than just Yaya is lazy and old and “i just don’t like Kolarov” to quote one of your co-host
Hopefully, the above will not come as criticism but rather an observation that will improve the podcast… I’ll keep listening”
