In this podcast, David discusses what it takes to be an artist in the current world, not in the sense of craft, but in dealing with the daily struggle of being in the world as an artist. What I really find priceless here is the way David approaches these issues with a very humbling, down-to-earth, realistic fashion; not speaking from an ivory tower, but from a the experience of a wise man who has been, and still, dealing with this struggle on a daily basis, and that is what I find both reassuring and encouraging for me.
He managed to change the way I approached photography since first I read Within the Frame, and I still find some fugue in every photo on Instagram, video on Youtube and episode on iPodcast. Thank you David for everything you changed in my life, and I do highly recommend this show.”
