Description
Today we welcome Jayne Ozanne. Jayne is a former member of the UK government's LGBT advisory panel but sensationally quit 2 years ago because of ministers creating a 'hostile environment for LGBTQ+ people'. Jayne discusses the tories continuous lack of action on their much ‘promised’ conversion therapy ban. At the time of release there is still confusion as to whether it will be included in the King's Speech on 7th November 2023. Jayne also exposes a potential queerness at the heart of the Vatican and we dig deep on what it means to be Unashamedly Gay and Unashamedly Christian. We discuss why she resigned from the governments advisory LGBT+ panel, her own experiences undergoing conversion therapy and whether the Pope might endorse gay people.
