“If Enid Blyton had ever written about the Famous Five battling the Ruinous Powers, it would have come out like this. A funny, utterly charming podcast; episodes are a reasonable length, filled to the brim with the banter of lifelong friends, amazing voice acting (without wanting to pick favourites, one must call out JB, in particular, as stellar - third only to the sheep and duck noises), moving moments of roleplay, and a pretty accurate representation of where using magic gets you in the Old World.
I listen to this podcast with my partner on the way to work. Knowing that they occasionally read out reviews, I’d like to finish by saying “Hello Ruth! Yes, it’s me! I love you!”. Hopefully that worked - if all goes to plan, she’s right now looking at me with Wittgendorf eyes.”
