An excellent and addictive series: 5 stars
Upon reaching Episode 50, having started right from the beginning, it’s time I left a review. This is a truly excellent series, meticulously researched and delivered by Andrew Hickey. Each episode covers a specific tune and reveals its history and the fascinating ways that riffs, musicians and record companies have intertwined from the 1920s to modern times, including innovation, intrigue, and outright thievery. If you love music, Andrew’s wonderful delivery makes it worth the commitment of starting from Episode 1. And he makes available all the tunes referred to in each episode. This is more than a podcast. It’s a master class. Thanks, Andrew! - Steve Prentice, Toronto, Canada
