A compelling, genre re-inventing podcast
There may be a glut of gaming podcasts coming out these days, but let me tell you that Robert Ashley is really onto something here. This is not just another video game podcast. The sound is crisp and clear, the controls simple and intuitive (just press play and you're away). Unlike other shows that may be too long and difficult for first time listeners, with breaks only coming every hour, instead the frequent breaks afforded by the original music allow newcomers to listen in smaller chunks. But don't let this friendliness fool you. Underneath this cunningly deceptive exterior lies a level of intellectual challenge that will have hardcore listeners coming back for more. The ending while satisfying, leaves room for a sequel next holiday season. While all in all I am super pumped for this podcast, I have to admit that the audio does stutter at times, but this does not detract from the overall experience and hopefully can be fixed in a patch. If I could I would give this game an 11/10. A must have for any self-respecting gamer.

A great look inside the inner workings of EGM. Robert Ashley was awesome on GFW even if he sounded like a stoner. It's good to see that he is still doing the podcast thing.Read full review »

This is one of the best gaming podcasts I've ever heard. The interview format is well-paced, the editing and sound levels are spot-on, and the clever use of music is phenomenal. I wouldn't change a thing about it, and I expect greatness from it in the future.Read full review »
